As numerous desks remained unoccupied because employees could work from home, the Sparkasse completely reimagined its office concept. Rather than having fixed workstations, employees share desks as required.

No renovations were needed; the spaces are simply managed differently using workplace management software. Various departments are allocated zones or areas within the office, where team members book their desks for the days they visit the branch.
